StormClan, PineClan, PetalClan, and BlazeClan have, up until this season of greenleaf, been living relatively peacefully. But this particular greenleaf is hot and dry, with little rain to nourish the plants and animals. Will the Clans have to resort to stealing to feed themselves - or worse? Only time will tell.
Meanwhile, it's that time of year again in Twolegplace - time for kits six moons and older to see The Cutter. Some will go contentedly, but others might go to drastic measures to avoid such a fate. Will the loners and rogues of the alleys take kindly to strangers? Perhaps, perhaps not.
Let the action begin!

A beautiful Bengal she-cat, with powerful muscles and a lithe and long body glided through the brush. It was like her every morning to take a walk by herself every now and then. With the clan at ease it was nice to get away from it all and drift in long seemingly forgotten memories of back when her only worries were if it was going to rain or if playing would be interrupted by Berry, her kittypet mother.
But as the main coon femme trotted along deeper into the dark conifer forest. A strange scent filled her nostrils and she tasted the air to get a more definite answer. Fox. She thought to herself and without a moments notice she swiftly turned and stalked towards the smell. Only to discover an emptied den, nearly hidden beneath a tall pile of boulders. Sageheart pricked her ears and slowly walked forward, up on her haunches. She was silent as a mouse and upon closer inspection of the den it appeared the scent was stale but stronger in some places. The old ones seemed to be about a quarter moon old but the others just days. "Something to report." She hissed quietly.

Crimsonair had been searching the forests for food since the moment of sunrise. As a warrior, after all, it was part of his duty to collect for his clan just as he always had done every day.
He crawled between the trees and bushes in search of food. There was absolutely nothing so far, much to his appointment.
And then from the corner of his eye, he noticed something crawl along the ground. A bony and tiny tail had skid past him. He grinned to himself, quietly sneaking up behind the mouse that was crawling the way and pounced on it and clawed at it several times before dragging the mouse away with the tail caught in Crimsonair's mouth.
As he trotted back to base, he noticed a familiar looking cat some distance away. The closer Crimsonair got to the cat, the sharper a smell had gotten in his nose. He recognized the cat right away.
"Hey, Sageheart!" he called, letting the mouse drop from his mouth, "Did ya find something?"
