Hey! These rules apply directly to our RP here, so pay close attention to them!
Naming:
1. No name may have more than four syllables. This means that examples of the longest names allowed are, "Morningflower," "Goldenfeather," or, "Rushingwater." To break the names down in syllables, they are:
Morn - ing - flo - wer
Gol - den - fea - ther
Ru - shing - wa - ter
Each prefix may have 2 syllables, and each suffix may have 2.
2. Do not make names with mythical creatures or animals unfamiliar to cats living in a North American forest. Examples of banned prefix/suffixes include but are not limited to:
Dragon
Vampire
Unicorn
Mummy
Zombie
Panda
3.Please refrain from copying names from the books. We'll understand if it was a name like Rosetail or Dawncloud, since those characters were hardly mentioned and most likely forgotten, but please refrain from using names such as Fireheart, Tigerclaw, Graystripe, Yellowfang, and the like. Leader, kit, and apprentice names are exempt from this rule as, due to the naming regulations behind these ranks.
4.Do NOT use ANY Twoleg terms. This is important. NEVER use a Twoleg word, such as a tool or a season, in a cat's name. Unacceptable words include but are not limited to:
Arrow
Knife
Winter
Summer
Spring
Metal
Diamond
Emerald
Ruby
Sapphire
Coloration:
1. Do not use odd or unnatural colors. Cats with blue, purple, green, pink, or any color that you would not find normally on a cat, are not permitted.
2. Do not use unnatural eye colors. Same as above, do not use colors that do not normally occur in a cat's eyes.
General RP:
1. No powerplaying/godmoddng. This is when a RPer takes control of another character, the weather, or other things which should be out of this character's control.
2. No killing another person's character without permission. If you would like to kill another character, PM the person who controls that character and ask them. If they say no, then that means no.
3. Don't become the Jesus cat. Seriously, this one gets annoying - don't make your cat the center of attention all the time.
4. This is the most important rule: Have fun!!
